Artist based in Portland, OR.
I began my artistic career as a set designer for my high school’s drama department in 2009, and since then I have continued to paint on walls the size of stages, and canvases the size of footwear.
My current practice is split between two separate, competing motivations that have been shaped by my experience post-grad: amateur commercialism and the psychedelic. Amateur commercialism is rooted in a fondness for bespoke product design as well humor and satire in art. Almost all of my work contains some amount of psychedelic imagery; from space-rainbows to mandalas to abstract paint pours, psychedelic art continues to be an intriguing and rewarding art form.
